Luke has been surrounded by the surf scene from a early age, When he was 7 years old he started surfing his local beach of Wallabi Point, Things quickly escalated and soon found himself competing at numerous events, He has had a long competitive surfing career which evolved into being a World Surf League WCT International Judge (which he still currently does to this day). Along the way he spent time doing surfboard art for numerous surfboard shapers and pro surfers around Australia.
In his teenager years he worked for a range of different surf schools varying from beginners to the sports elite, When the opportunity to take over Saltwater Surf School arrived from good friend Rob Wynter he jumped at the chance,
He now has a very professional experienced and qualified team running surf lessons alongside him.
